Como ya se habran enterado, hace unos dias en una conferencia de hackers, dos hackers que habian descubierto hace mes y pico una vulnerabilidad en los iPhones que enviando un sms con un caracter no reconocido y algo mas, tomaban en control total del aparato.
Estuvieron semanas intentando que Apple les diera corte, y nada. Entonces en la conferencia liberaron como se hace el ataque y Apple no tuvo otra que de urgencia liberar la actualizacion.
TODOS LOS IPHONES PUEDEN ACTUALIZAR SIN PROBLEMAS (bloqueados, desbloqueados, etc)
NO HAY UPDATE DE BASEBAND NI NADA MAS QUE NO SEA EL FIX PARA EL SMS.
Apple has released iPhone OS 3.0.1 to fix a SMS exploit discovered by security researchers.
Security experts Collin Mulliner and Charlie Miller found a bug which will allow hackers to completely take over your iPhone with a single character SMS. They presented the exploit at the Black Hat conference in Las Vegas, explaining that it works by slightly modifying the data sent by the network which is not seen by the user.
This exploit could allow hackers to access all your data as well as take control of your iPhone to infect and attack other devices.
